I've got a few minutes so thought I'd load some pictures!
The boys having a blast at the Pima Air Museum, Joey LOVED the two areas that allowed him to push buttons. This is a replica of a portalbe traffic control tower.
This cock pit offered HOURS of enjoyment for Joey... sadly he only got spend a few minutes in there before other visitors wanted their turn to push a button and take a peek.
Dan and Joey liked the SR=71 Blackbird. The exibit had a sound board with options to hear take off, landing, and breaking the sound barrier. Joey, as he pushes the button, says "What's this???" The sound startled him, but he soon recovered with a big grin.
After we enjoyed the tram tour (to help save Dan's ankle AND see as much of the museum as possible) we stopped by the gift shop and then headed out to lunch. OUr favorite place? Subway!
We're heading back to Carlsbad Caverns for Bat Flight at 7:15 pm, then dinner, but I'm hoping to load some more pictures tonight of the Caverns.

Joey is really into the airplane scene. He and Grandpa will have to make a trip there together sometime.
When Ron Makovich and I were down at the air museum a number of years ago, the Blackbird was outside under a tent. They had covers on the engines but they were filled with dust. I'm glad to see it has a proper home now.
Glad to see everyone is having a good time. Hope Dan continues to mend.
Love Dad
