Darrin and Brooke tied the knot yesterday in Grove, Oklahoma. Many of you know that Dan and I housed an intern, Darrin Simpson, through the year 2007. After a year of staying with us Darrin moved to Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN to take a job as Minsiter of Middle School Students working with 6, 7, and 8th graders. 
Seeing him and Brooke yesterday was wonderful. The wedding was a truly happy affair with lots of laughs and smiles. The atmosphere was one of happy celebration to see these two committing their lives to each other. THe church was decorated with candlelight and flowers and looked lovely. Brook was stunning in her gown and Darrin cleaned up really well in his tux... and bright blue shoes! So him, and Brook had hers dyed to match. Dan and I agreed that it was one of the nicest weddings we have been too. They celebration center was deocrated with thousands of white lights and made the room feel cosey and formal. Darrin and Brooke were all smiles and looked so incredibly happy together. Can't wait to hear what their honeymoon adventures in Paris, France hold. What an exciting journey for the two of them.
